MPhil-PhD in CPDS

The MPhil-PhD in Conflict, Peace and Development is an amalgamation of Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy. The following is the list of courses taught in first two semesters:

CPDS 711: Philosophical Foundations of Social Sciences and Conflict, Peace and Development Studies  3
CPDS 712: Research Design and Academic Writing in Conflict, Peace and Development Studies 3
CPDS 713: Research Methods in Conflict, Peace and Development Studies 3
CPDS 714: Qualitative Foundations: Peace and Conflict Studies in Humanities 3

In the third semester, students diverge into MPhil or PhD stream. Students opting to complete MPhil degree have to undertake a dissertation work, while a limited number of students selected on a merit basis become eligible to enroll further PhD.
